Having your say

As owners, members have the opportunity to have a say in how the business is run – and this will not change now we have merged with The Co-operative Financial Services.

Britannia’s Annual General Meeting will, in future, be replaced with a different democratic process which will provide more regular opportunities for members to have their say.

The Co-operative Group operates a representative democracy model. This allows members to be elected to area committees, regional boards and the national board of The Co-operative Group.

Eligible members will be notified of every opportunity to have their say, as well as when and how they can stand for election.

Britannia has had the Members' Council since 2002 and members will continue to be represented in this way in the new organisation. And, of course, it will ensure your opinions are not only heard, but also acted upon.
