Roles In Our Branches
Britannia is proud to be part of The Co-operative Financial Services and together we provide a fair and ethical alternative to shareholder and government owned banks. As we’re not driven by shareholders, but by our customers and employees, we can continue to build a fairer organisation by helping our customers with their finances, and finding products to suit their needs. Our approach is caring, open and honest.
We know that it is our people that provide the essential support, values and expertise to do this, so we are committed to giving them a great place to work, grow and develop.
We've a number of positions to fill in our branch network. You can apply online for these.
Branch Manager
As Branch Manager, you’ll be responsible for making a great service that bit better. You’ll inspire and motivate your team, supporting their training and development and leading by example to build a well-informed sales culture where the customer is always put first. Of course, you’ll take charge of the security and smooth running of the branch, and using your financial knowledge and management experience, you’ll be responsible for building a better organisation on the high street.
Mortgage Adviser
Britannia is driven by the needs of our customers, and nowhere is this more important than when advising on mortgages. As an experienced Mortgage Adviser with full CeMAP qualifications, you’ll take a solutions-focussed approach, using your initiative and specialist knowledge to advise on a wide variety of products to a diverse range of people. Motivated by getting the best value for our customers, you’ll stay up-to-date with all our products and services while always putting the customer first.
Savings & Investment Adviser
Taking care of the future is a top priority for our customers– meaning it’s very important to us, too. As a Savings and Investment Adviser you’ll have fantastic communication skills when dealing with our customers and know how to identify the products and services that fit their needs perfectly. Building a fairer organisation means staying one step ahead, giving a great service time and time again to customers no matter what their needs. Some customer service experience gained within financial services is essential and you’ll receive full, ongoing FSA compliance and sales training to complement your existing direct sales experience, and give our customers the service they deserve.
Customer Sales Adviser
As the first point of contact in any branch, it’s our Customer Sales Advisers who are the most important link to our customers. Putting the customer first and ensuring they’re treated fairly and efficiently is our top priority, and in this role you’ll go above and beyond their expectations to make their accounts really work for them. Of course, you’ll need fantastic customer service skills, ideally gained from within the financial services sector. And as part of building a better organisation for everyone, you’ll receive some of the best training and development opportunities in the business.
