Merger update
Following the merger of Britannia and The Co-operative Financial Services, the new organisation has already began to deliver on its promise to deliver a wider range of saving products for customers to choose from.
From November 2009 savers have been able to open a choice of two Britannia fixed-rate ISAs in any branch of The Co-operative Bank. The ISAs are the first Britannia products to be made available to Co-operative customers through Bank branches. The Bank previously didn’t offer a fixed-rate product.
Also, Britannia customers who hold a Britannia cashcard can now change their PIN at any cash machine provided by The Co-operative Bank and Britannia. This is great news, as Britannia cardholders now have the facility to change their PIN at over 2,000 machines throughout the UK (in selected Co-operative Bank and Britannia branches as well as a large number of Co-operative Food stores).
Plans are currently underway to allow customers from Britannia and The Co-operative Bank to use each others’ branches in the future. To keep you informed, check the regular updates on this website of the changes that will affect our customers.
