When you want to get more out of your spare cash, it makes sense to take it out of your everyday account and place it into an attractive variable interest rate savings account. But if you ever needed that cash again, you’d want to be free and easy to transfer it back. By linking with your current account, our DirectSaver account puts you in control of your savings.
Because you manage DirectSaver by phone or online, you’re always in the driving seat. You can steer your money from your DirectSaver account to your current account and vice versa. What's more, you can use your current account's telephone or internet service, or our postal service, to make deposits into your DirectSaver account.

- Interest is paid annually by the first working day after 1st January into this account

- Can be opened as a joint account so long as it’s linked to a current account held in either one or both of these names.
