Mortgage application process

Reserving your mortgage

We offer 2 levels of service to help you select your mortgage with Britannia, advised and non-advised. You can get either of these services at your local branch. For a non-advised service you can contact us via telephone, where one of our advisers will be able to help.

To ensure that your mortgage and rate is held whilst your application is being approved, we will ask you for a non-refundable booking fee payable on application. This will reserve your chosen mortgage rate for four months. You can choose to pay the remaining arrangement fee when you apply or add it to your mortgage and pay interest on the additional amount over the mortgage term.

A step by step guide from application to completion - This should take approximately
6 weeks
